Description
Clean title, 3rd owner. Was a farm truck in Merced, CA before I bought it about 3 years ago. Only surface rust, frame and body are good. 360FE engine, ford c6 transmission recently replaced. Only issue is intermittant white smoke coming from one side, and dead battery. runs and drives but will need some work to be a daily. Great candidate for restoration or a patina truck. Clean California title in my name. Mileage is in 40k range but could be rollover.
Explorer edition, original color was light ford blue (paint left is original)
Last year of this Bodystyle, Simple truck, RWD, Manual steering, all tires are good.
I used to drive it a good bit a year ago, but I let it sit and now the engine isnt happy, just been moving it across the street for the last few months, starts up every time.
The good:
Front brakes recently replaced
heads replaced 1 yr ago (no paperwork, done by independent mechanic, engine painted at same time)
transmission rebuilt in 2014 (have paperwork)
Replaced Valve cover gaskets 3 months ago (did myself)
Replaced transmission modulator 3 months ago (did myself)
Recent Oil Change
Tool box included
The bad:
Dead battery (door light switch became brittle and cracked, light stayed on and drained battery. Bring fresh battery and it will start. I can jump for you)
Temp gauge doesnt work
intermittent white smoke out of one side of exhaust.
Old and has been sitting around a while
