1978 Ford F-100

For Sale 1978 Ford f-100 Long bed.. Truck runs and drives.I have own this truck since 2008. This truck is a daily driver for me. Many parts replaced over the years but most recent replacements are as follows
new aluminum radiator
right rear wheel cylinder
new carburetor
New plug wires
New timing cover gasket
water pump a few years ago
MSD distributor and control box
Rear Shocks couple of years old
truck has headers with duel exhaust flowmasters about 1 year old
New mirrors
New Grill
New rear end gasket and bolts to repair leak
Newer Front brakes and calipers
Rebuild C-6 trans about 4 years ago
Chrome trans dip stick installed when trans was replaced
Electric fuel pump replaced a couple of years ago
Replaced radius bushings
bed handle
new door locks in 2017
newer right rear taillight housing
replaced rear window with tinted glass and seal
Just purchased new spare and rim, comes with jack and lug wrench
Truck was originally from West Virginia. Purchased the truck with blow motor and installed a 95 Ford 302 from another truck i owned at the time. Engine probably has about 100,000 miles on it but has great oil pressure. engine does not smoke. Rust has developed in a few spots such as doors and cab corners. Bed is solid. truck was garage kept as long as I owned it only up to the last couple of years. I don't have a garage now so the rust it has developed over the last couple of years. Quarter panels have rust above the wheel wells which I cut out. Truck was painted black prior to me purchasing the vehicle. original color was cannery yellow. Now a 2 tone Black with Maroon roof and 2 tone hood. truck has chips scratches from normal wear and tear.
Truck recently developed a small intake manifold leak. just within the last couple of months, but still runs pretty good. Since I lost storage I can't repair it where I'm currently located.
Planned on keeping the truck for a very long time but unable to complete the restoration due to storage and budget. I also have all the receipts on the vehicle on file.
I have invested about 8 grand into the truck over the years and always tried to keep it in the best possible shape. This truck is a real head turner. I constantly have people talking to me about it or giving me a thumbs up on the road. The truck still has a lot of possibilities and is a great platform for a complete resto job. Frame is solid with some surface rust but not bad.
I removed the column shifter and installed a B&M floor shifter. Interior is unfinished. needs seat and door panels and does not have a radio. Truck also comes with a bunch of parts. Truck is currently located in Lowell Indiana.
New King pins that I have not had installed. still in a box
New master cylinder that I never installed
New Ford High performance water pump and many other small original parts.
