Description
1966 Ford F-100 stepside Pickup Truck. Fresh build frame off within last 2 years. Rebuilt 223 that purrs like a kitten backed behind a 3 speed manual on the column. Generator converted to alternator. Stock rebuilt radiator and gas tank. Brand new aftermarket wire harness. Original speedometer and gas gauge in working order. Aftermarket temp and oil gauge nicely placed in gauge cluster. Nice glove box. Vintage tachometer in working condition. Outside is painted with a PPG suede grey (not primer!) and inside is metallic gloss charcoal. New carpet and seat and door panels. All new rubber all the way around (doors, windshield, back glass). Glass is all original and perfect. Wing windows and door felts still need to be replaced. Windshield wipers and heater both work great. All lights, turn signals, etc. in working order. Frame was stripped and painted with POR-15 rust preventive paint. Axles were flipped front and rear to lower, rides as good as any old truck does as is or flip back to stock in a day. Truck started out life as a F350 Chevron Dually Tanker truck for the San Francisco International Airport. Probably has been seen by millions and millions of people in its day. I left the original paint on the bottom of the cab to show how good of shape it is in. Sitting on rally/wagon style wheels with big and littles. New chrome center caps and lugnuts. Rear tires/rims are wider then the front for a beefier look. Brand new wood, bolts, and metal hold down strips in bed. Wood was stained with a light/medium grey wood stain and then coated 3 times with protective verathane gloss. All sheet metal was stripped and primed with UPOL primer And then painted over with PPG suede paint. For being an old work truck, it is damn straight. However with it being an old work truck, there are some dings and dents that were not perfected during body work and prior to painting. Also there are some scratches that have been acquired since the truck has been built and driven. This truck was not built to be a autorama goodguys trailer show queen, it was built to be driven and have the shop truck look that is built better than the average rat rod in patina or primer. Can be driven as is but needs some things finished to make it a solid street and freeway driver. Truck is located in Northern California, Sacramento and is available to preview or inspect by you or a third party to fully understand condition. I have a clean california title in hand ready to be transfered to you. Truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty given or implied. Buyer will be responsible for shipping and transportation. A $500 non refundable deposit is due immediately at the end of sale. I can be contacted at 916-207-3964 to further discuss vehicle condition and any other questions you may have.
