1961 Ford F100 Unibody Pickup Truck
What a beauty! And rare to boot.
This is the first year of production for the "Unibody" pickup. ALL other F-Trucks produced before and after this run (1961-mid 1963) have been true pickup trucks. the Unibody is like a Ute where the cab and bed are all one unit as opposed to separate.
This is a 6 cylinder with a manual transmission. Not sure which 6 cylinder as there were two in that year. The truck has sat for a long time in a shed. The motor runs but will not idle. It has a manual and electric fuel pump - could be either of these and/or it probably needs a carby rebuild anyway as it leaks.
The body is in fair to good condition. There is some rust but I wouldn't consider it serious. I guess that is a matter of opinion and I will leave it to you to inspect it and agree or not.
Import approval in hand.
I have the right to end the auction as it is advertised locally.
Payment: Bring cash or transfer before pickup.
