1987 FORD F100

Hi. We have decided to sell our custom built F100 as it is now surplus to our needs. It is fitted with a 4.0l EFI 6cyl and 4speed auto from an AU falcon. Also features MX6 bucket seats with full adjustability, and is blue plated for both modifications.
- Interior has been redone in grey, and reupholstered in dark grey soft touch fabric.
- Features blue mini flourescent interior and door lighting, with clear map lights overhead.
- To suit the driveline conversion, it has been rewired with all donor computers, fuse and power modules, fuel pump, instrument cluster, etc.
- New alternator.
- Speedo has been corrected to suit wheels, tyres and diff ratio. 0.2% error in speedo as measured.
- New front lower ball joints, link arm bushes. Camber adjusted to suit lift from uprated F150 springs.
- 2.6m * 2.0m steel tray with formsetters ply floor. Folding spotlights on headboard to get under garages, carparks, etc.
- Single mid-mount fuel tank, filler under tray behind cab.
- Steel towbar with dual trailer sockets to suit small trailer or pig.
- Aluminium side steps on solid mounts.
- Custom center console trimmed in matching fabric with cup holders, accessory swithches, two power sockets for phone, gps, etc.
- Double DIN touchscreen entertainment unit with reverse camera, remote, ipod/phone connection, aux input, USB input. 2x 4" speakers in doors, 2x 6x9" between seats.
- Driveline conversion sits on std AU engine mounts, gearbox mount, utilises AU radiator and thermos, power steering plumbed to F100 p/s steering box. This conversion is easy to maintain, parts can be sourced anywhere in Aust, as opposed to waiting for parts from the USA. 4speed auto, torque control manifold and 3.50 ratio 9" diff all combine to give good power and towing characteristics.
- 33" tyres on std steel rims with genuine american XLT hubcaps.
- Rust repairs have been done to the floor just inside the doors, continuing 1/2way up the firewall seams. Sealed with silicon inside and entire cab floor tarred underneath. Have photos of work done. Bucket seats sit on custom mounts fully integrated into the cab floor, no dodgy work here!
- New quarter glasses, refurbished heater box, THE two hardest parts to obtain in this country at reasonable prices.
- Comes with full data on the build, wiring maps, can supply PDF of AU service manual, pics of work in progress.
- Comes with spare rims, tyres.
- Would suit a tradie due to huge tray, can carry a full pallet or 8x4 sheets of material with room left over!
Vehicle located in Oakey, 26km west of Toowoomba. Vehicle will be sold unregistered, as-is.
