I am selling for a close friend his 2006 F150 fx4.
The truck is actually near perfect, Id buy it for myself but I have a 2008 F 150 Lariat limited which I love.
So I know these ford trucks very well.
At the moment the only issues with the truck are the right front fender and right rear fender are starting to show rust a little bit. I have photographed the areas and put the ability to enlarge the photos so you can blow up the pictures and see the matters exactly.
The chassis, frame, bed supports, and everything else that starts to go on these 10 year old trucks is in excellent condition.
Even look at the interior, no rips nor is there a bunch of stains on the cloth interior either!! The truck just had a remanufactured transmission installed (that was 1800 and 600 to have it installed) and its got about 200 miles on it now. We have the receipts and the 5.4 3 valve engine purrs like a kitten AND roars when you need the 330 horsepowered engine to roar when you need it. The 5.4 engine is without any valve train noises which is common on this engine and it is because of a cam phazer failure issue. The engine has 35,000 miles on her and was a Ford remanufactured replaced engine about 2 years ago before Keiths ownership.
Why do I mention the engine!! well because anyone wanting a 2004 to 2008 F 150 would want to know this because if you buy a truck with 100k, 80k, 120k or (you get the point) on it, it will need a $6000 replacement engine assembly soon. I can guarantee it, again why?? well my 2008 had its engine replaced already and I had a 2004 before that that had the same issue. nice end to a story though, if you replace the engine, with a reman.. you have this issue of the cam phazer failure licked If you think you can buy a 1000 used engine, again you are just sitting on a ticking time bomb and you wont be happy when what I say happens happened.
What the truck also needs replaced (200 value) and it will be fixed before the sale. . Is a body control module. What happened with this truck is the windshield leaked down the Passenger side of the A pillar. the water went down and effected the fuse panel. What is wrong you would ask.. well the radio doesn't play and the door chime (like the door is open) goes off intermittently. In the past, a prior owner tried to have the glass resealed, we had the windshield replaced and there is no more leak.
If you buy this truck you will be 100% happy because this truck drives and runs great and it doesn't look nor seem like a raggy old truck with rattles, squeaks , etc.
Also, I have new Fx4 stickers for the bed and the F150 badges for the fenders (new) someone tried to steal them from the truck, or vandalize it, Im not sure.
I have the title in my hand so if you want to come and take a look and buy the truck on the spot, I am ready.

I HAVE PRICED THE TRUCK TO SELL AND FRANKLY, IT WILL BE THE BEST DEAL ON ONE OF THE BETTER 2006 F150'S.
