2005 Ford F-150 XLT 5.4 8 cylinders automatic transmission with 125,500 Miles
Please do not buy with the intent of inspecting. Recently, winners have been giving too many excuses with delayed payment or no-show buyers.
It starts up and idles smooth but it has engine light ON with two Codes: P0345 and P0349 both codes related to camshaft position sensor on bank 2, because of that, the car runs but not to go too far, it will need to be towed, it won't go more than about 40 miles per hour. RPM won't go more than 4x1000.
I was told it could be the wiring, computer, something called phaser, chain tensioner, chain guide, chain jumped a tooth, etc. Good news, He said, he checked oil pressure with special gauge and it's good, that means he said, the engine itself should be fine. He said it can be something simple or NOT and cost up to 1,200 for labor in my area. The truck is worth at least 6k fixed, so you have room to fix and still be a good deal.
The truck has a nice fresh paint, good tires, frame in good condition but Instead of fixing it we just decided to sell it and buy a SUV because we dont need a pick up truck.
My husband just replaced both camshaft position sensors, both VCT solenoids, all spark plugs, all ignition coils, it has brand new battery with 3 year warranty from auto advance auto stores ( I have the receipt ), also brand new starter from autozone with LIFETIME warranty from auto zone ( Also, I have a receipt and is going to the buyer).
As you can see on the photos, it truck has a fresh new paint, however the interior parts, like doors and hood were not painted, it's still red.
AC is not working
Cruise control not working
Radio only works FM and AM, not CD.
It has a small crack on the windshield ( it cracked all of a sudden )
The cover above the glove box that is red with the ford sticker is broken but I have another piece that is going with the truck.
Small rip on the driver side seat
Center console wont lock
It has remote starter
Tires in good condition
Body and Frame in good condition!
Interior is clean and in overall in good condition, just the driver seat is ripped
