Up for grabs here is a hard to find, 1978 Ford F-150 Custom with the 351M V-8, Automatic Transmission, 4x4 w/ Warn Manual Locking Hubs, Cruise, Power Steering & Power Brakes. This is a NO RESERVE auction and this truck is priced to sell.
Keep in mind the truck is 43 years old. Left turn signals do not work. Drives nice, but steering wheel is off center (could use an alignment). Some previous body work and paint touch up done, but the truck is very clean overall and is presentable as a driver. Appears to have had some seam sealer added to the lower inside door seams, and possibly has had some patch work above the wheel wells and drivers lower door skin. Windshield is cracked on the front passenger side. Far from perfect but is a nice clean driver. Please see all pictures and take the time to view the additional pictures and video posted in the links below. Rear gas tank leaks and is disconnected and gas gauge doesn't work. Showing 85k Miles, unknown if that's 85k or 185k. Clean Minnesota title. Purchased recently, and only selling because I found and purchased a 79' Shortbox. Original keychain from when the truck was purchased new. Seat has a cover on it but I can tell the foam on the drivers side is weak and could be replaced.
Everything aside from what I mentioned above appears to work as it should, including the cruise, wipers, radio, and heater. Previous owner stated when he purchased the truck around 4 years ago he replaced all fluids, filters, and did a tune up on it. Starts and runs very nice, engine is quiet with good oil pressure, transmission shifts well and the truck is quiet running down the road (aside from some typical wind noise from vehicles of this age). Like all vehicle sales that aren't new or close to new, the truck is sold as-is.
Will hold until you can make shipping or pickup arrangements, but full payment is due within 3 days of auction end, with $1,000 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end.
