This is my very nice, well kept 1998 Roush F150 Sport Truck. It doesnt need any work. It doesnt have any issues, or leaks, or rust. The paint, interior, chassis, motor, brakes, exhaust and transmission are all excellent. A little about it
This was the first year Roush started to play with and build F150s. This is a very early production truck. Roush did not start with the serial numbered trucks untill 2001.
This is the real deal, and is much more rare than any Lightning.
The Roush treatment on this truck consisted of Roush Suspension, emblems, pin stripes, floor mats, wheels, supercharger. This f150 has the large 12 bolt ford Rear end, and very fast steering box. I am not sure if they are Roush, but the sway bars are extremely thick also.
It runs, drives, and handles like a sports car. It has the 5.4 engine also, unlike most lightnings with the 4.6 motor.A few upgrades include different intake, SCT Tuner, boost a pump adjustable boost, adjustable fuel pressure, boost and fuel gauges, and has been lowered a little bit more in the rear with different hangers. I have the factory original bits and pieces that have been changed and they will go with the truck.
The tires are 90% tread with no dry rot, brakes are new and it stops on a dime. SLP exhaust tips with Borla pipes. It sounds as good as it looks and drives like its brand new. Its very tight with no shimmy or shakes or rattles.
Lightnings can be found, these can not. Its a chance for someone else to own this rare truck and enjoy all of the attention and enjoyment that comes with owning and driving this truck.Its in exceptional condition all the way around. It has always been garage kept and it shows.

The emblems that came from Roush on the grille, and front fenders have been changed out for the newer style emblems. I do however still have pictures of the emblems that came on the grille and front fenders, incase someone wants to revert it, but why, these look nicer. The pinstripe on the door and tailgate are original from roush as is the top left tailgate emblem. These were changes to modernize it a bit.And are reversible.
