1977 ford f150 xlt ranger
460 motor w automatic trans,ac,power steering, power brakes
i bought this truck from the original owners wife last January in Searchlight Nevada.
ran and drove but had been sitting and not used much except to pick up mail or take trash to dump, so the following work i did/had done
NEW:
tires, less than 150 miles on them
exhaust
complete front brakes
shocks
trans mount
hoses,fluids, and filters
radiator cleaned and new anti freeze put in
complete tune upplugs,cap,wires
heater core re placed and when it was out i rebulit the blend door components
battery
stereo and speakers
all lights and gauges work as they should w the exception of lights on top of cab.
body is straight, bed has rusted out spots above reaer wheel wells and bottom corner of bed pass side very rear.
floors,rockers,cab corners etc are good.
the lady explained to me the rear rust happened when they were in denver for a few years when her husband was working back there.
has a hand operated hoist that will lift up to 1000lbs.
this is a GREAT old survivor that runs and drives great, the power steering line will drip every once in awhile and it needs a new trans pan gasket, thats it!
the 460 is not shy about drinking gas if your running it,
ac is all there and hooked up and engages, however you would want to go through the system complete to make it fully functional, and its the original r12 system so most likely you will want to convert it to new freon etc.
i have a new set of oem re pop door panels and a oem re pop dash pad that will be included, they are the factory green color as well, i paid 500.00 for them. i also bought the rt side grill insert to put in the grill off of ebay, it too goes with the truck and there is the og tail gate stainless trim piece and rear tail light stainless trims as well that go too.
she is a good old truck that has never let me down, i have driven her to arizona, california in the summer here in 120 plus heat and had no issues at all.
great old truck!! clean nevada title in my name.
not pretty not fancy, but a GOOD OLD PICK UP TRUCK
check all emissions in your state prior to buying if thats a concern.
