A lot of time, money, sweat, and love has been put into this beauty. This truck runs very good due to lots of fine tuning little by little and has great throttle response. She starts right up every time without hesitation. I recently took her on an 8 hour road trip and the engine ran smooth the whole time and the tranny shifted flawlessly. I would not hesitate going on another road trip with it.
I am ALWAYS getting compliments on it! People constantly come up to me wanting to talk to me about it and know more about it. I even have people waving at me, honking and giving me thumbs up regularly as I'm driving it around town and on the interstate (No I am not confusing people honking and giving me a thumbs up with people honking and flipping me off :-)). My buddies are always saying how jealous they are. In fact, as I was taking pictures of the truck, I had a truck full of older gentleman pull over to talk to me about it. They kept on saying how beautiful of a truck of it is,all the memories it brings back, and they wanted to know what all I have done to it.
Shipping and Handling:
Lower 48 states:
- The winning bidder will not have to worry about any of the shipping. I will take care of the shipping charges. I have been in contact with some very reputable, highly recommended shipping companies with MANY customer reviews. As soon as the payment is received I will call them up, see who can pick it up the quickest, I will pay them when they come to pick it up, and off it goes to you to be delivered. Easy as that!
Local Pick up:
- Local pick up is free and is not a problem at all. To keep it fair, if you would like to pick it up yourself I will take $1000 off the final price of the auction.
Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and international:
- I will pay up to $1000 towards the shipping costs. You will be responsible for paying anything over $1000. Any and all paperwork for border crossing or whatever else will need to be arranged and handled by the winning bidder before the truck is shipped. I can assist in helping you find a shipping company if needed.
Payment:
- A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours after the auction ends. Deposit can be payed through Paypal, cashiers check, or money transfer.
- Final deposit must be payed within 5 days from the end of the auction.
- Due to many scammers out there, I WILL NOT except Paypal as a form of payment for the final deposit (if you are not aware of this scam, google "papal car scams" or something like that. Long story short, Paypal does not offer seller protection for vehicles and the buyer screws over the seller) so don't even ask because I will say no.
- I will only except cash, cashiers check, or money transfer for the final deposit.
- If you would like to pay for it all within 48 hours from the end of the auction and not have to make two separate deposits, I am totally ok with that. The sooner I receive the full amount, the sooner you get the truck.
- If you do not have the money to pay for the truck or if you are a scammer, DO NOT BID and please don't waste my time!
Warranty:
- No warranty. Sold as is. I am not advertising this as a perfect, Show stopping, award winning, driven once a year truck. Its a 1979 truck that has been used as a truck that happens to be in very good shape.
