Description

For you "purist's", here's a very rare find!!
A "totally stock" 1953 Ford Pickup with less than 84,000 "actual miles" on it! This "250 model" is the same size as a modern day pickup, with an 8 foot bed. The bed is "original" with the
"oak plank" flooring, that's in great shape. Gauges and Electrical work. Bench seat professionally redone in red.
Everything's here and in good shape for being "65 years new"!!
I know the complete history of this "53". My uncle bought it new in 1953 and sold it to me in 1977. It has not been on the road since!
I had a professional "valve job" done on it before putting it "into storage" in 1977.
This pickup has Ford's "Flathead V-8" and the stock 4 speed manual transmission. Of course the Numbers all match and there are "no parts missing"!
The interior paint's in good shape as seen in the pictures. The exterior was the same color originally as the interior. It could be again, with a little body work. Surface rust only. The Hood is perfect dent wise! There are only 3 shallow dings throughout the whole body. The engine could use a good steam cleaning to remove dust and dirt, having been stored.
Buying this "53" pickup will save thousands of dollars and years of time over all other ones for sale.
It's a very adaptable model style.
The large fender wells allow for massive tires to be used without any body modifications.

I saw a beautiful '53,' converted to 4-wheel drive, with a modern paint scheme. It won the car show!
I've kept this brief. If you have any questions please contact me through my email account at Ebay.
I want at least $12,875.00 for my "53". Any "reasonable offer" above the $12,875.00 takes it, before the auction!
