1976 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. 2WD Super Cab. 460 motor. With original bed minus tailgate
Starts, stops and runs. I was told when purchased that the motor and transmission had been rebuilt. So take that for what it's worth. Since I've had it the starter and fuel pump have been replaced. Needs work to be a daily driver by someone more mechanical than myself. Dash gauges don't work correctly besides the speedo and odometer. Dash shows 45,000ish but most likely 145,000ish. Has a leak at the fill hose on the gas tank, holds gas, just leaks when filling up. After driving on the highway and then stop and go acts like it's out of gas. Vapor lock possibly. Takes 40 acres to turn. LOL Been a farm truck for awhile. No major rust on body or bed. There is a spot on the passenger floorboard that has rust through. Looks to be from heater core leak possibly?? But nothing major that I have noted.
I'm open to reasonable offers. Being sold as is, would recommend trailering it home. The sides of current bed come off, so original can be strapped on if need be for transporting. I have applied for the title, have registration to prove that. Just waiting on it, been a few weeks now, will update if I get it before listing ends. If not it will be mailed or delivered as soon as it comes in and can provide any documentation needed to secure the buyer in the process. $500 Non-refundable deposit required at end of the auction.
