Description

I bought this truck ten years ago on eBay from the original owner who bought it new from a dealership in Reno. I drove it home, to San Diego from Boise. It's been a great truck since. I've had zero issues with it. Starts every time. I've totally babied it. Somebody even called it a "cream puff" whatever that means. Bought it to pull an 18 foot aluminum skiff. Sold the boat a year later and never towed anything since. It currently has 85,600ish original miles. Original motor, original transmission. Always maintained per maintenence schedules. Passes smog. Has new tires. Brakes were done a few years ago. Major tune up done about a year ago, new wires, plugs, hoses, fluids etc. Runs and drives solid. I drive it like an old man. Pisses people off but Im saving the planet one gallon at a time. The reason for sale is this is our third car and we only use it for camping trips and home depot runs, the once a year run to the dump etc. It's too much truck for the family at this point. I have all the receipts and service records for the time I owned it. I replaced the foggy orignal headlights about a year ago with new ones. I replaced the front leaf springs and all four shocks shortly after I bought it due to the front sag issue. A/C blows cold. I would not hesitate driving this anywhere. It has never let me down.

Lumber rack was powder coated a year ago. I custom built it with a friend. plans change. The bad: One rust hole right in the center of the roof due to a poorly installed CB by the original owner. I mitigated the hole with a grinder and a can of white rustoleum and then covered the hole with a patch of bituthane to prevent further water intrusion. The truck has very minor scratches. I tried to capture anthing significant, but its pretty flawless for its age. I have extra mirrors as the ones on it have rusted a bit. I think there is only one true door ding. You know, like the kind of divot you see as you walk down the side of the truck and the light catches it just right. The back passenger window on the left does not go down. Could be motor? Could be grease? Not sure. The back right tire blew up on the way to tahoe several years ago and bent the back of the fender. Could be bent back easily probably. Ask questions if you have any!
