1979 Ford Truck F 250 4 X 4 429 C.I, 4 Speed ,
1979 F-250 Ranger 4 X 4 with 4 speed manual transmission. Engine is a Roush 429 C.I
Cobra Jet 750 HP with a rare Dove block with the thicker webbing for more strength.
Truck runs well and won't disappoint. very throaty. 3.0 Exhaust.
The good first.
Western bullet aluminum rims , Trailmaster shocks , Traction ladder bars to prevent
wheel hop. Large tachometer , New gas tank and fuel pump , Gas gage works Lights
work , 35 X 14.5 Mickey Thompson tires . New Eldebrock carburaters , New Heater
Core Fan Motor , New Master Brake Cylinder . New Clutch From Jeffs Bronco
Graveyard . Other Pieces ; Custom Hood , Large Truck Horn [loud] Chrome Headers.
Lund Visor and Rear Valence .
The truck had been set up as a strong pull truck with posi front and rear. I am the third
Owner.
The Bad
Body needs a good paint job to make perfect. The fasteners for the visor and valence
were not siliconed to prevent water getting to the sheet metal. Spots have been
patched with some filler. Truck had been stored inside for over 20 years which led to the
new fuel tank and pump. Body is rough but solid. Cab corners are not rotted.
