1996 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Long Bed Dual Rear Wheel 7.3 Liter PowerStroke Diesel for sale by owner. 181,000 miles on the odometer. 2WD Automatic Transmission This truck is in great condition and has been well taken care of. I am the third owner, the first owner put the first 150k miles on it in Nevada, the second owner bought it to tow his fifth wheel from Nevada to Indiana where he immediately sold it to me and a I put the last 30k miles on it. I love this truck, it has been very good to me and I know I will regret selling it, but I have too many trucks and it is time to sell.
The original owner installed an aftermarket temperature gauge in place of the stock one in the dash, both function but the aftermarket one remains hooked up. I primarily used this truck to tow my Airstream around the country for longer trips. It was not my daily driver. It has never seen road salt or winter weather to my knowledge. The truck has an absolutely minimal amount of surface rust underneath the truck, but considering its age, it's as close to rust free as you're going to find. I have had no cold start issues with the truck. I've kept up on regular maintenance and have kept this truck as clean as possible. It has always been smoke free both inside, and out of the exhaust. The E4OD automatic transmission has been recently serviced by Stroked Out Diesel Repair in Piedmont Alabama after experiencing a burst in a seal. There are no leaks from the transmission or the rear differential. The truck runs like a dream and is amazing at towing trailers. There are two small cracks in the original windshield. They have been there since I've had the truck and haven't expanded at all.
I drove off in this truck with my wife after our wedding. This truck has been a beloved member of our family and it will be sad to see it go. I hope someone else can get as much enjoyment out of driving this truck around as I have. Truck is sold As-Is. I have the title. Buyer must pick up the truck.
