Nice, Very Cool 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door Hardtop.
“Classic” new 15-inch Cragar SS Wheels and Mastercraft Avenger GT tires.
17K miles on rebuilt motor and C4 Automatic Transmission.
289, 4BBL, Weiland aluminum intake, New Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor, mild street cam, milling and port work, stud mounted aluminum rockers, competition Mallory dual point ignition, and Ford Racing aluminum valve covers.
New alternator, battery, fuel pump, sending unit, radiator hoses, and belt.
Custom dual exhaust with Hi-Po manifolds.
New brakes, drums, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Rebuilt front and rear end, new heavy duty 1” front sway bar, Gabriel shocks, heavy duty leaf springs in rear for better ride and more aggressive stance, new front coil springs, shocks, and insulators. Manual brakes and steering.
Front and rear tinted glass, New Dearborn Classic interior door panels, custom seat covers, kick panels, carpet, headliner, package tray, glove box, and seat belts. NOS am radio and dash bezel, new Pioneer CD player/radio and 6x9 speakers, All new weather stripping and trunk mat. Rebuilt heater box and new heater core.
Car has original sheet metal and no evidence of rust repair. Very clean underneath with original undercoating. Factory color “Silver Metallic Blue” paint is approximately 20 years old and has imperfections. Hood was recently painted. I have receipts and documentation for work completed over past 20 years. Not a show car, restored to be driven and enjoyed.
