1963 Ford Fairlane 500

1963 Ford Fairlane 500 two door Hardtop with 66124 miles. This Fairlane is powered by a 302 V8 with an Edelbrock 4bbl & Ford Aluminum intake and vintage finned valve covers.This Fairlane has Dual exhaust with cut outs.The C4 Automatic has been rebuilt with a shift kit installed and is shifted with a floor shift. This Car runs, drives, steers and stops well. The body & paint appear original. The paint is aged and faded but could easily be redone or left as is depending on the look your after.Overall Body panels appear straight, flat and uniform. Doors, hood and trunk open easily and latch securely. The body moldings and trim are very nice. All clear glass, no cracks, windows roll up and down easily. The floors are original and in decent shape not perfect. Needs a bit of work around a bung hole in the floor and Where the passenger kick panel meets the floor. The frame stubs look solid as do the door bottoms and rockers.This Fairlane needs a bit of bodywork in the quarter panels and front fender bottoms. (Typical) The original hood has had a thunderbolt style hood scoop & pins added. The original interior is in fair shape. The original font bench seat is comfortable but needs the driver side recovered. The front door panels have wrinkled up a bit. The rear seat is excellent as are the rear door panels. The original headliner is not too bad but is not perfect the car could use new carpet. Car rides on fourteen inch steel rims dressed in original derby caps. Tires look very good. This is an excellent daily driver you can enjoy driving right now and improve as you go.
