Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible! In the mid 1950's Ford was ready to replace the dated Crestline which was used across many platforms. For the new design Ford used many design cues from the predecessor but made many aesthetic changes. Using the name of Henry Ford's Estate near Dearborn, Michigan known as, Fair Lane, the Fairlane was born. The Fairlane would see seven generations across only 15 years with new designs and changes every 2-3 years. Here we have a 1967 Model, the final year of the fifth generation. Many updates were made and this design, the front fascia makes for one of my favorite Fairlanes! As you approach this car you take in the deep dark blue paint with a light blue top, and she looks really good. I really love the stance of this car. Put the power top down and really show of the light blue interior. Under the hood is a 289ci V8 running the power down through a 3-speed automatic transmission. Current owner has had her for 8 years and acquired through family. Believed to be a 3-owner car! Body prep and repaint was done by Perry's Body Shop out of Hope, IN. Car comes with new glove box insert, hub caps, and what is believed to be original valve covers. Car is titled in Indiana as a 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 and is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! If you want a comfortable cruising convertible and one you don't see often look no further. Options on the Fairlane include: Power Steering, Power Convertible Top, Vinyl Interior, AM/FM Radio, and Radial Tires. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ].
