1971 zd fairlane . Power steering,regassed air conditioning, new fuel pump, water pump.new brake booster . New front slotted rotors and pads , new rear slaves .koni adjustable front shocks . New idler arm . New 465 vac secondary Holley. Edelbrock 4 brarrell dual plane manifold . New aftermarket electronic distributor and leads, USA riveted mercury wheels . This car has been my DAILY DRIVER . For the past three years and has never let me down once . Super smooth to ride in . Fairlane comfort . Drives straight and mechanically sound. The old girl has had the rust repaired on driver front and rear door passanger rear and quarter but still has a bit left I the other usuall places as shown in photos . I had it booked to complete repairs but sadly I have pulled the pin and decided to move it on to someone who wants a classic cruiser or something to go all the way with . 302 MEXICAN WINDSOR has been fitted at some stage . I believe that they are highly sought after for there superior castings for performance mods and such and are a super rare find theses days, do a little research and se what the fuss is about . It's still running quiet as but every now and then it puffs a little on start up . C4 shifts strong as ever . The spedo cable packed it in last month I have replacement to go with vehicle . Front tyres are shot and will need replacing soon . The gold trim is showing its age on the front seats and top of rear backrest . But as I said my daily driver including holidays the lot . Can rarely go get fuel in it without some wanting to chat about the car . Always gets attention . The zd just needs a straighten up and you got a cracker car or just cruise as it is, i have a few spares to go with.
