What you see here for sale is a VERY RARE FIND an Original Paint Unrestored 99.9% Rust Free 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Fastback - this was a Factory 200 Cubic Inch (3.3 litre) 6 Cylinder Motor, with C4 Automatic Transmission - Ford 8" Diff - 5 Stud Wheels
I am selling with a choice of two Motors and Transmissions Combos or will sell it less motor and transmission for a $1000 less !!!
Choice 1 - I have a 96 5.0 Litre V8 Fuel Injected Windsor complete with all parts out of a EL Fairmont Ghia with Computer and Loom, Airbox, 4 speed Automatic Transmission
Choice 2 - I have a 1966 289 2v Windsor V8 Motor with a C4 Automatic Transmission (no converter) - both cores suitable rebuilding
Choice 3 - Buy it less motor and transmission and take $1000 off the price !!!
I brought this car in Reno Nevada and it has a very Low Humidy Hot Dry Climate - the car has never left West Coast !!!
I brought it less The Engine and Transmission - it had had a 289 V8 Engine at some time as the V8 Mounts are still in the car and will be easy to repower with above options or your own motor option
It has the original Wheels and Hubcaps - the Tyres are just good for rolling car around - old and dried out !!! or I can do a real killer deal on a set of Brand New 15 x 7 American Racing Wheels Torque Thrust Wheels with New BF Goodrich T/A Radials - optional !!!
Its still a projectcar but a bloody easy one
Just Imported from USA this is a Real Clean & Original Car
It Can be Registered in all States a Left hand Drive - I have the Import Approval Permit etc .
The Body is Real Nice and Straight - never been in any major accidents and has all the original radiator Support Panel and Rear 1/4s etc - it has got a few minor dings around the place but all real easy to fix before painting - this is an original paint car - will need a coat of paint to make it real nice again of course and being from Nevada the paint is pretty sun burnt. Note the Grill is damaged but I have a nice GT Grill that comes with the car
All the windows roll up and down etc
Being from the Dessert the Interior is toast and will need a Full Upolstery Kit, Headlining and Carpets just the usual stuff - all upolstery kits etc available from Dearborn Classic and Various other Suppliers in USA for these cars and are way cheaper than a XW XY GT Interior - I ordered a new headlining for it from Dearborn Classic and it is in the boot and comes with the car
I am sure will be the odd bits of pieces missing but for the most part everything important is there and there is even a few spare parts that came with the car and you get everything I got - I can also help with getting parts in from USA for buyer down the track.
Its getting impossible to find almost Rust Free 1966 Cars these days anywhere - Let alone a real cool looking Fairlane Fastback that Seats 6 - Make a Great Family Sunday Car !!!
