Hi I'm advertising this matching numbers 1973 Ford XA V8 Fairmont sedan
for a mate
it was garaged bout 12 years ago now
its in factory cosmic blue
matching numbers 302 cleveland
its all original as in its never been rebuilt
factory wind back sunroof
with also spare roof chop with another wind back sunroof for parts
3speed column auto
it has had extractors fitted at some stage
still has full set antisun glass windows
im 99% sure its still the original windscreen
has factory fitted power steer as I'm told
borg warner diff
has had black interior fitted
headlining is torn to bits
its got minimal rust for a original car getting round these days
its worse spot for rust is round the boot seal which was mostly found once the seal was removed
then back corners round the rear window
from there its minimal surface rust
like bottoms front gaurds and rh drivers and rhr passenger door
sills got couple surface rust spots
has few small dents around it but nothing major
Its a perfect car for a restoration with rust repairs all been small and easy to repair
engine runs good even after sitting last 12 years we put 5lts fuel in on weekend
a tickle down the carb and battery in it and it sat there and idled on second attempt in about 10 secs
with no knocks in engine just a lil smoke haze till it cleared out what u sort of expect for a engine that hadn't been started in 12 years
