1976 Ford Fairmont XC 4 Door Sedan V8 4.9L

Here I have a 1976 XC Ford Fairmont original factory V8 in good condition for its age. The interior is in really good condition as pictured. This car has 210,063 km's on the clock which is pretty low km's for a car of its age. Pretty much everything is there, just a couple of bits and pieces missing eg. missing headlights, starter motor, carburettor. Other than that pretty much everything is there. The motor that I have put in it is a 4.9L 302 Cleveland which I have painted myself in the original blue colour the Cleveland motors come out in. Some assembly is needed to get the car running again but I know the motor is a good running motor that I pulled out of a running F100. I wouldn't have gone through all the hard work of painting it if it wasn't. This is not the original motor of the car but I have the matching numbers block which comes with the car at no extra cost which is a 4.9L 302 Cleveland also. It has a 8 & 3/4 diff and a T bar auto. Being a 1976 model, it is one of the first XC's to roll off the line and the fact that it is an original V8 with a matching numbers block makes it a rare car to find. There is some rust as pictured and some rust in the boot where all XC's rust. There is some bog in the rear quarter panel. Also the rear doors don't open. Other than that the body is in pretty good condition. I have had the car running before and it drives nice. The suspension has been changed by a previous owner at some stage of its life. Would be a great restoration project as too good to wreck. It wouldn't take too much to get this car up and running.
