Here we go again folks. The car sold this past Saturday but the buyer backed out because of some technicality in bringing it into Canada. U.S. Bidders only this time in case you know something he didn't.
This is the "GAS MONKEY Falcon". Sold on the show in 2013, seen in twoepisodes. Rich bought the car and was going to cut it up and make aGasser out of it but when he saw it didn't have the heart. This is whathe called "The most original 1961 Falcon on the planet".
When the carwas purchased the dealer put clear plastic covers on the seats and theyhave never been taken off. The original owner didn't even put a radio in it when it was purchased but I am including one with the car in case you want to.
It is a real deal 8,249 mile time capsule that needs a good home withsomebody who has the knowledge to do all the mechanical work himself soit doesn't cost a million dollars to get it back in shape. The car runsand drives but needs work to be safe for the road. The engine runs welland does not overheat. Valve seals are shot from age and need to bereplaced. Brake system needs to be gone through. I put five new Coker650-13 correct width whitewalls on it this week.
Comes with Factory Shop Manual, an Original Ford Radio (none has everbeen installed, this was a radio delete car) and NOS Antenna, 4 newshocks and a car cover.
