Description
1963 Ford Falcon Futura 4dr Sedan
Great family project.
170 (?) CI in-line 6 cylinder. Original 87,000 miles. Automatic transmission. Runs, drives and stops, but not good enough to travel. Car is in OK shape. Great restoration candidate. All trim present. Been sprayed, some evidence of bondo, filler, looks decent from 20 feet. Recently acquired this car. Previous owners have dressed car up to be a driver. It needs a tune up, brake adjustments. Interior is not original.
New: Tires, starter, gas tank, fuel pump, filter, and carburetor.
Needs: Restoration or to be a daily driver, break adjustments, tune up, wipers, some small electrical repairs (bulbs, turn signals, etc.), window rubber (previous owner caulked dry rotted seals).
Just purchased this car recently and haven't dove into it yet, but it starts, idles a bit rough, brakes need redone. Clear title, floors have been replaced in frontpoorly, but functionally. Some evidence of bondo in lower fenders and usual areas, but not extensive. Probably never a show car, but either a really good parts car or cruiser/driver unless someone goes all in on restoration. Low reserve. Must pick up, located 24976. No texts, serious calls only. Sold as is, where it is. Needs trailered home.
