Only 96,xxx km! Probably the lowest mileage BF for sale in Australia.
Bought by us from Pacific Ford Noosa on the 9th of July 2007 with 33,464 km on the clock (paperwork, including original newspaper add, available to view), and then registered in VIC in Sep 2007 when we moved down to Melbourne.
We are the 2nd owners - it was originally a Ford Fleet/Budget Hire Car. We needed a car because we'd just arrived in Australia, and this was too good a deal to ignore.
Ford Service History - book stamped by dealers from 42,855 onwards (first service we had to do).
Car has never let us down (expect when the battery died). New one fitted Jan this year.
Used by my wife as her daily drive - has some battle scars as evidence - rear bumper and driver's door are the worst. Would cost about $700 to make good with second hand parts - price reflects this.
Interior is in excellent condition - no wear on the seats etc.
Mechanically excellent, drives very well, and is actually pretty good on fuel for such a big car.
Company car means it is no longer needed.
Good points:
- Low km for age - only 96,xxx km!! (note it is still being used occasionally to keep the battery charged etc so this will go up as time goes on)
- Interior in excellent condition
- Serviced by Sunbury Ford on 13th Feb this year.
- Brake Fluid and Coolant done by local garage 26th Feb
- Tailshaft centre bearing and coupling replaced by local garage in April
Bad points:
- Damage to rear bumper - bodyshop estimated $500 to replace.
- Damage to drivers door - not too bad - used doors on ebay for about $150.
- Scrape on front LH corner of front bumper
$3,900 with no reg (plates removed) and no RWC, buyer to get unreg permit.
Reg/RWC could be included for extra - depends how much is needed for RWC - I suspect nothing required but the car has not been checked. Current Reg expires 3rd Sep 2014.
Located in Gisborne, about 45 mins from CBD.
Could be viewed in Port Melbourne (Salmon Street) during the week if you let me know the day before.
This is a bargain at this price.
