BUDDY'S for sale :( Oct 1987 Ford Falcon XF Ute
This has been my daily commute for over 3 years, but a change of jobs means it's goodbye.
I have just purchased a new car and was offered $2000 as a trade-in. But due to the "extensive artwork" that was hand painted by
my family, we have decided to sell it privately in the hope that it stays on the road and doesn't get sent to the scrap heap.
When I bought this car we completely stripped (paint) her back, sanded and repainted her (don't ask me why!:)
It was used by a contractor before me, they installed heavy duty suspension and everything under the bonnet except for the engine
seems new. There are absolutely no leaks.
Now don't get me wrong this car has the XF traits! Passenger door only opens from inside. The carby is buggered so i have only ever
run it on gas, I do have a replacement carby sitting on the dashboard, but I've used it as a pen holder as i was happy to run it on gas :)
The drivers side of the bench seat is worn coz i had to swivel my fat butt out every day!
The engine has had a 'tapping noise' since before i bought the car. When i got her road worthy the mechanic told me it was an easy fix
and a common XF trait. Once again I didn't bother and it makes no difference to her performance.

No RWC although I can't think of anything it would need.
Power steering.
Column auto.
Enclosed canopy with 3 opening windows.
Great wheels.
Temporary airbag (but she doesn't come with the car!).

$1000 is a small price to pay for a car ready to go as the rego cost nearly $1000. Not to mention I've seen similar canopy and bulbar's
being sold for up to $400 each on Ebay.
Will swap for a Winnebago, Big Boat or small aircraft!
