Second owner 100% rust free XE Falcon Eclipse, 95000 kms from new, The original elderly owners used to dry this car if it ever got wet, also driving it after washing it, not before, and always garaged, I am not surprised due to its total lack of rust, I built this car to keep, not to sell. If you are looking for a good Xe for anything, drag circuit street this one is very good, I cant believe how many bad cars I looked at before I came across this one which I would say was too good for what I had planned to use it for.
I striped this car down to a bare shell and built it up to do Improved production circuit racing and to keep it registered for road use, could be put on club Rego now with some work, currently unregistered. Due to not having the funds or time to race I am selling it as a rolling car minus Engine, Gearbox to Diff centre, Car has done one practice day at Sandown Park since completion, was only run with a 350 hp engine so car has not been abused, This car handles fantastic, and is not a heavy car.
BODY: No body work has been done on this car Except for it being painted in 2 Pac standox white, inside and out, and is gloss black underneath, No filler anywhere, Body was mint, car has not been wet sanded or polished since painting, looks good but would look even better if you wanted to do that. Front of car chassis has been stich welded as per class rules, has had all body deadener removed inside and underneath and any unused brackets etc, removed as well. if you have a driveline this car would pass Improved production rules with flying colours, The role cage was professionally built to work well at keeping the car safe and rigid without being heavy, I have the paper work for the cage, This car feels very light and tight to drive.
Wheels I had made are the last made B45 Proper 16 x 8 inch Simmons in metallic black to suit this car, Tyres are yokie ao48r's 225 all round,
The diff is a Disc Brake 9 inch with 31 spline Billet Moser axles.
SUSPENSION BRAKES: GENUINE XA GT 16.1 Manual Steering Box, kmac 2.5 low springs front and rear
Koni external adjust shocks front andrear.
Kmac adjustable front sway bar and adjustable rear bar(not fitted or really needed), Nolathane bushes throughout the whole car, all suspension moving joints are new.
New Master Cylinder, Clutch Cylinder and Slave Cylinder, Brake hoses, Front brakes are pbr large piston new callipers and pbr slottedrotors
Rears are std xe callipers and slotted pbr rotors
Front pads arerace brakes comp 15
Rears are race brakes rb75's
Tilton brake bias valvedriver adjustable Urethane bushes at all pointsthat there was rubber before.
Engine & Gearbox mounts suit Cleveland, Comes with genie 4 into one tuned extractors and a 2 into one 3.5 inch exhaust system with a 3.5 inch stainless muffler.
It has a Large Race Radiators Dandenong built Alloy Radiator which would cool a big block, Alternator is new, Everything works, the wiring is optimised for ignition etc. Has Autometer gauges, it comes with everything you see in the pictures minus the Engine to Diff centre & Gear shifter, If the diff center was wanted its an 3.00 31 spline ratio Detroit locker, I would need $1900 dollars added to sell price, + comes with mint original front seats and eclipse wheels with very good tyres, there will be more things to add when I remember them.
