FORD FALCON XP 1966 UTE

FORD FALCON XP UTE 1966 - in excellent condition. I purchased 2 years ago – it’s been garaged the whole time and driven as a weekender in good weather only so its well looked after. Have spent over $5K mechanically and it runs well. I will highlight the key details below but there is too much to list. I have all of the original papers from nearly all of the mechanical work.
Some of the key work includes (but not limited to):
• Addition of new radiator, thermo and electric radiator fan.
• Fully reconditioned Stromberg Carb.
• Removed and overhauled head refitted and sealed.
• Recently fitted new front gas shocks.
• New rear universal joint.
• Recalibrated Instrument display and speedo cables.
• Replaced all fuel lines, fuel sender float.
Main features:
• 200 pursuit engine (47K miles).
• Auto 3 speed column shift transmission.
• Extractors - running well with good compression.
• Front disc Brakes - recently passed Roadworthy so well above 40%.
• Rear Drum Brakes. (5 stud wheels). Whitewall tyres. (has spare in hidden compartment).
• Ute tray is fully lined with custom plastic tub liner and lines with marine carpet – all in excellent (near new) condition with clip ute cover.
• Fitted new converted (digital) radio with aux output – 160W.
• Interior all in excellent condition although sun-visors missing.
• Restored and repainted with 2-pak approx. 4 years ago - little to no rust, inspections welcome obviously.
The XP has been serviced by specialist mechanics who work on collector cars in Byron Bay and is running A1.
The car has full (normal) NSW registration to September 25, 2016.
I am not desperate to sell and will discuss purchase details only to serious buyers. Would be great to see this car go to an enthusiast. I also have it advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to withdraw from sale.
