Description
Vehicle is an Ex Taxi from Melbourne purchased by me last year.History prior to me purchasing:Vehicle has 873663 km on the clock but not the original engine, I assume the engine change took place around 500000 km which seems to be the life expectancyand was replace with a low km engine.Has a tow bar but no tow bar tongue, all the usual holes in the dash from all the taxi equipment and holes in roof have been filled.Air Conditioning is in good working order as well as the front power windows.I have all the receipts for the parts and labor for the work done to obtain a road worthy certificate last year.New parts include6 coil packsRear Pedders Shock AbsorbersTie RodPassenger side lower control arm bushes (vehicle comes with the drivers side bushes as sold as a kit)Rear shackle bushes.6 iridium spark plugs.Fuel tank module.Rear Axle bearings. The vehicle is in need of another engine due to a misfire on cylinder No 3 after fuel module in the fuel tank was replace due to rough running on petrol because of fuel pump failure. The misfire on cylinder No 3 was cause by the post catalytic converter O2 sensor indicating engine was running lean because the O2 sensor wires had been crushed between the transmission crossmemberand the floor pan. Cylinder No 3 now has coolant leaking into it, suspect cracked head.It has been recommended by a number of Ford wreckers a Green Top LPG engine should be used as a replacement with current inlet manifold which is set up for duel fuel. Reason for this recommendation is the green top engines have stronger valve train and can handle the high octane of LPG and they are now being used for turbo applications for this reason.Green top engines range from $180 to $500 on ebay.Vehicle runs well until the cooling system heats up and pressurizes and the white smoke flows out the exhaust. It can not be driven any were has to be transport.ANY REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE CONSIDERED.Thank you for taking the time to read the description and happy to answer any question
