Description

This auction is for a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Sprint 2 Door Hardtop. It's a project, but it is an exceptional solid body with no rust in the floors or trunk or body. The bucket seat interior is in very good condition. The car has the original 260 motor and it starts and runs good. The car was originally a 4 speed floor shift, but at some point it was changed to an 3 speed automatic. The fabricated transmission mount for this swap broke a couple years ago and the car was parked. I got the car started by lubricating the cylinder and changing the spark plugs an replacing the starter. I checked each scope and I didn't see any rust on the cylinder walls. The body is pretty straight, but needs paint. No rust around the windows or trunk gutter. The hood has a Crack by one of the hinges and needs welding, the hood flexes there when opened. All the glass is good. The original color was red. There is a couple spots of filler on the roof , but the roof is solid. Some of the molding is missing on the sides. It a solid car if you like Sprint the good interior and solid floors and truck will save lots of time and money for a restoration. The clutch pedal is still in the car and the clutch linkage is there. I can store this car for up to 90 days after receiving payment, if a buyer needs some time to come and get it. You don't see too many of these and the look really cool when restored. All new tires still have stickers on them.
