ReplicaWILL SUIT CLUB REGO OR FULL REGO. Previously been registered in WA, so registration not a problem. I had intended to put on club registration though, for cost effectiveness
This has to be the ULTIMATE COMBINATION of any XY you will find!
1971 Ford Falcon Fairmont XY GT Replica, Wild Violet, White Interior, Windback Sunroof,
Worked 351 Cleveland with 4V heads (approx 480HP), 9in Diff, Toploader gearbox.
Originally a Fairmont (JG34), this replica was built in Sydney a few years ago with all the good parts.
Engine has had plenty of work, and was built and dyno'd by C&V Performance. These guys are known for their work! Includes solid Crane cam, Crane rockers and lifters with custom pushrods. Was Dyno'd with 385HP (at rear wheels) which equates to about 480HP at the flywheel. Currently running electronic ignition. Toploader gearbox, heavy duty clutch and 9in Diff. Triple thermo fans ensure it doesn't overheat. Comes with a fuel cell in the boot
Interior is white original XY GT basket-weave with some signs of wear for its age, but very much looks the part. Comes with GT Dash, GT Clock, Super fringe radio, GT Steering wheel (with working horn), GT belts, console and rear Venetian blind. Has windback Sunroof and is so rare to find on XY's these days. It also has a remote alarm and immobilizer installed.
Wild Violet paint is very good, its been painted for about 13 years, and the car has been maintained well considering the years since rebuild. There is a little bubble of surface rust on the roof of the car, but that's all I've found. A couple of minor marks hear and there from driving also if you look close. The Gold GT stripe really sets it off.
The car has a GT bonnet (braced), GT aerial, GT driving lights (with Superoo covers), GT spoiler, overidders, GT fuel cap, sill molds, rear chrome surrounds, and more.
The car sits on 5 slots rims with redwall tyres.
Starts first hit every time, and rumbles beautifully.
Comes with a folder of history, manuals, documents, wiring diagrams, specs, receipts (thousands $), dyno, etc.

All in all this is a great solid car, with a restoration done approx. 12 years ago, with some signs of wear that are acceptable to the eye. This would be a great driver to enjoy as is, or spend a few $$ and some TLC and have a sensational collector muscle car. It already looks the part, but some more love and it would be something else. A great start.
I haven’t had this car long. I bought it as I saw it and loved it. However, a mates car I had been trying to buy for years came up for sale after I bought this, and as I had always wanted it, I have deciced to sell this and keep the other one
