Up for grabs are my 1964 Ford Falcon XM Deluxe Wagons. And wagons now are getting harder to find, especially the XM's as they didn't make that many of them.THESE ARE A GENUINE BARN FIND OF A TRUE EXAMPLE OF A MUCH LOVED & HONEST CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN ICON
THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO BUY THEM!
You can see exactly what your getting. No lolly pop paint that is hiding all the nasty layers of body filler and rust repairs etc.
A true honest old XM Deluxe wagons that are ready for renovations and to hit the road again for summer lovin.
The first vehicle the blue wagon is built 1964, has all her exterior chrome, and original patina. Interior is totally original with her metallic blue bench seats, door cards, roof lining, steering wheel. Original keys for both and both cars have their original Identification plates in the engine.
ABSOLUTELY stock standard original factory interior. The bench seats are in fantastic condition, with only a small tear in the drivers seat. The door cards are original with no speaker holes. The floor is even the original factory vinyl.
She was last registered more than 30 years ago and the only rust is in her floors where she's been sitting. This car is far too good to wreck or cut up for bits and would be ideal for a restoration. Has all her windows and original 4ply tyres and is a 3 speed fordomatic on the honey pot. The engine turns over if I put power straight to the starter motors the electrics will need looking at. She's had fresh oil, filter and leads and a 170. All her windows are there and the roof is solid.
This is a true example of an unrestored classic.
The second vehicle the white XM wagon is a cracker. She has been lowered in the past, redone interior with bucket velour seats, automatic floor shift and a custom metallic blue interior. She has a powerful 250 motor and dual exhaust system and a stainless steel petrol tank. She also sports wide racing tyres and jelly bean mags. She does have bad rust in her rear roof and in the lower hinge on the drivers door. Electric seats and starts up with full power and throaty with her dual system.
This car would again be fantastic to restore or to use for parts for the blue one, your choice but you are getting two for the price of one.
The auction is for the two cars, if you only want one it is still the same cost.
Also included in the sale is a complete front diff from an XM with full disk brakes and the setup.
