Description
Here we have our 2005 Ford Focus 1.6 Ghia Automatic. The car
has 2 previous owners and has covered 69,400 miles which may increase slightly with
use. It is HPI clear with certificate to prove.
The car comes with full service history, all the old MOTs and many receipts. We last had the car serviced and the cam belt replaced at 65,000 miles. We have all the handbooks and two keys. MOT is valid until late March 2016 although I will happily add a new MOT if the car sells for the asking price.
The car drives faultlessly and is in good condition, although has picked up a few marks commensurate with being ten years old. Being a Ghia it is well equipped and has also had some optional extras including:
Electric sunroof
Climate Control
Six disc in dash CD changer with iPod aux socket
Cruise control
Auto wipers, lights and dipping mirror
Side air bags
Electric windows/mirrors/heated front screen
ABS
Rear parking sensors
A previous owner has also fitted a Parrot Bluetooth hands free kit which works very well.
Being ten years old there are a few things to mention. Firstly, there is some corrosion to the polished rim of the alloy wheels; - but this has never bothered us and the painted spokes are fine. The wheels have not been kerbed and all of the tyres have good tread. Secondly – every now and then the climate control gets stuck on a particular temperature. This is easily got around by turning it off and on again. When using the air conditioning it is nice and cold. Finally – there is a small mark on the bonnet that was there when we bought the car – this is from some kind of bird dropping.
The Focus has been completely reliable during our ownership – and we are only selling it due to us having bought a diesel. We’ve taken good care of this car, and the expensive cam belt job that is due on all Focuses this age has been done. The car is all ready to go and should serve its new owner well.
If you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them.
