Hello and welcome to the auction of my wifes ford focus cmax 1.6TDCI.
The vehicle is generally in good condition although the bumper could do with a respray.All features on the car are in excellent working order including power steering, central locking, electric windows, power locks, cd player, alarm, drivers airbag, alloy wheels.
THIS VEHICLE IS SOUGHT AFTER 1.6TDCI LX, which is preferred to the 2.0 tdci because of the increased fuel economy, this vehicle will easily exceed 55mpg, driving at the speed limit of 70mph. This vehicle has been used as the main family transport, for taking the children to school, long trips and family holidays, as well as my wifes daily commute to work.
It has been dependable and reliable and the one issue that can be of concern has been addressed, the diesel injectors have been replaced and should be good for at least another 60,000 miles.
the vehicle has a low tax band of 110 pounds per year, and costs my wife less than 200 pounds per year to insure.
How does it drive
The car is a smooth drive with excellent power delivery, throughout all the gears, the steering is direct and responsive, and is easy to drive and more importantly park.
The first person to drive this car will definitely buy, and I am happy for an RAC/AA inspection, or bring a mechanic friend. The car is ultra reliable and has not been involved in any accidents, and is only being sold due to the purchase of a newer vehicle.
