Welcome to my advert for sale of my Ford Focus ST-2.
I have owned this car for nearly 3 years and has been an absolute pleasure.
I started to modify it after about a year with an Airtec intercooler and it went from there. After getting a bit of clutch slip I decided to take it to the next step and went on a buying spree for the car. First up was a Sachs performance paddle clutch with a solid flywheel conversion, this clutch is rated up to 350bhp by the manufacturer and has never struggled with the power that is going through it. This cost over a £1000 for this clutch, flywheel and fitting.
this I purchased a full Mongoose exhaust system off the focus owners club, this exhaust goes from the turbo right back with 3 inch pipe to a 4 1/2 inch rolled out tips.it comes with a decat fitted (I have the original CAT which will be included with the sale) it has a lovely raspy noise and pops on gear changes and in my opinion not too loud considering some of the exhausts available for the ST's.
It benefits for a Blufin map which is currently set to Stage 3 I can provide the handset but I'm unsure whether I can send on the additional maps 1,2 and 3+ as the unit is registered to myself.
It has a Group A Pipercross Induction kit with an Auto Specialists top pipe this gives a bit of wastegate flutter which is addictive to say the least, with this mod you have to move the ECU so it benefits from a RS ECU holder (again original parts are available). I removed the symposer hose as this had a split in the diaphragm and with the sound of the engine and exhaust it really didn't make much difference in the cab and it cleans the engine bay up a bit.
With these modifications the car should be pushing around the 300bhp mark. Its a very quick car and sounds absolutely awesome, the 5 pot engine is easily the best engine noise I've heard for a hot hatch.
Car has full service history from dealers until I purchased the car however I work in the car industry and have had the technicians I work with service it for me as private jobs, hence why the last two 'stamps' have self service written on them.
It has recently had MAP sensor and boost solenoid (a common problem but not difficult jobs).
There are a few aged related marks but the car looks stunning and I'm reluctant to sell but I'm in the process of buying a car I've always wanted so unfortunately she must go.
Viewing is welcome, however I would like to see insurance cover if you want to test drive.
