1983 Ford Bronco
351 Cleveland V8 ,C6 Transmission , 9" Diff, Dual petrol/gas fuel system.
The truck is in very good condition for its age, all the panels are straight , there was some rust in the firewall that has being repaired with welded steel plates. (practically every bronco has this happen) apart from that she is rust free! I bought the car from country Victoria a few months ago and drove it to Queensland, I did a lot of work getting it ready for roadworthy but my plans have changed and I'm moving overseas. It would make an easy project as most of the work has being done,
Front brake rotors and pads are good , rear has new pads and cylinders, the master cylinder appears newer.
Front ball joint/ draglinks are all good, most are new, steering box will need a seal kit to rectify an oil leak.
Underbody is clean and good condition. New polished timber SAAS steering.
Engine runs great ,has genie extractors and sounds cool, new engine mounts , spare key blanks, distributor,leads,coil,new locking hubs for the front diff and new motor unit for the rear window. Tread on the tyres is very good , probably 90%.
Carpet is new , I put the original front seats back in (they are a bit tired) but I bought 2 very nice 2012 black leather bucket seats to replace them. Rear seat is good and has being vinyl sprayed black to match. Dash is perfect, no cracks.
I drove most of the way up here on gas (very economical) but started to have some issues with fuel starving , the lpg specialists said its a common problem and the mixer (?) will need to be cleaned/serviced, I didn't have time to get it done and drove the rest of the way on petrol. The gas system was recently rewired , the tank has I think 6 years left before it needs a retest and I have a current QLD gas inspection certificate for the system.
Radiator looks good, there is AC , I took the belt off for the delivery and have no idea if it works, new compressors are $195us on eBay if this one doesn't work. Back canopy is removable to make a convertible.
Truck is in drivable condition.
( Please note the odometer shows about 90000km but it's the old kind that goes back to zero after 99999!)

Not many of these trucks were imported into Australia and they are becoming very rare, this one overall is in better condition than most and would make an easy project for someone with basic skills. They can be easily lifted, a 4" body lift kit is $200us or a 6" suspension lift kit is $500us if you wanted the ultimate off-road machine.
