Ford Escort MK1 RS2000 Tribute Car (Replica)

This car has been finished to a very high standard for road use it is not a concourse car or a lightweight track car,
but a great road car to be enjoyed, so it is black underneath and wax rust proofed. It has engine mods for its intended use Fast road.
The car has not been tracked so don't ask me for track times or BHP numbers. It is very responsive and smooth on the road
suspension is harder than standard but won't loosen your fillings.
The engine bay has not been painted as I was going to fit a modern engine and 5 speed box but never got around to it.
Base car:
1974 MK1 escort 1300 super Very clean never welded
Steel RS2000 front flares welded to original wings and spare wheel well re-fabricated (Pictures available)
Front and rear arch lips rolled and car resprayed in original colour 2pk and fitted with correct decal kit from the UK
Round headlights fitted with round headlamp grille and light protectors.
1/4 bumpers and correct mounting brackets.
RS wiper spoiler fitted
RS2000 badges fitted.
All rubber window seals and inserts replaced including correct shaped drop glass seals. all door and boot seals replaced all UK sourced.
Windows tinted to correct legal darkness.
Everything under the car is 2lt mk2 rally pack. Brakes overhauled and fitted with braided hoses.
All bushes are in black urethane. Front geometry optimised to fast road settings.
Front suspension 2lt struts fitted with gas inserts and lowered King springs.
Rear suspension gas shocks and modified rear leaf springs. Rear diff 3.9 ratio open.
Whiteline rear sway bar fitted.
All wheel bearings and brakes overhauled.
Wheels JBW RS 13 x 7 1/2 imported from UK. (you cannot just buy these wheels and bolt them on)
A lot of work is needed for them to fit a mk1.
Tyres are semi slicks 185/60 but could do with replacing.
Rear bumper could do with replacing.
Interior:
Original black seats re-upholstered.
Door cards front and rear are original black and in great condition.
New High pile carpet, new underlay, roof lining std in white.
New Boot carpet.
under dash parcel trays are present along with original kick trims.
Battery relocated to the boot.
RS2000 spare wheel bracket and strap fitted.
RS2000 6 clock dash 130mph Speedo and 7000rpm Tach.
correct steel dash back section fitted along with crash pad.
Springalex replica deep dish steering wheel.
Rear parcel shelf could do with being replaced.
Engine:
2lt std bottom end rebuilt
lightened flywheel and uprated clutch.
Head ported and fitted with big valves, compression 10:1
Fast road cam fitted, adjustable cam pulley and valve geometry correctly setup (Cam timing,spring loads and followers).
Electronic Ignition fitted.
Sierra Cosworth oil cooler fitted.
Twin 45 Dellorto carbs on redline manifold
Twin KN filters over trumpets
Electric fuel pump and Malpassi filter king fuel pressure regulator
Pacemaker headers into 2" Exhaust system
Alloy breather pot.
Large alloy radiator and front mounted electric fan.
4 speed gearbox.
The car is in Tasmania.

I am 10mins from the spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal, 5mins from Devonport airport , and 1hr from Launceston
airport anyone willing to travel I am happy to collect and return.
