Ford Explorer XLT (4x4) (1998) 4D Wagon 5 SP Automatic (4X4) (4L - Electronic F/

Reg.'d until Jan. 2016 always serviced and garaged has been my private use vehicle for many years and is a good example of a well maintained Ford Explorer XLT 4WD. Everything works and has four good tyres. I've just spent$1500 getting the air con fixed, it is really good and cold and works well. Vehicle has just had its 220,000km service, oil, filters, coolant etc Ive replaced the Thermostat, Lower and Upper Housings and associated parts as Explorers were renowned for "Splitting" the lower housing so all good here for another 10,000kms before anything needs servicing. Has a locking fuel cap and working radio, speakers all good etc. Owners manual/service Books included. 4WD LOW Sticks and needs reset after use. 4WD HI works well. The 4WD forums explain this is due to the sticking engage motor from lack of use, Im not apt to using 4WD LOW very often! Ive only Driven this on main roads, not the beach or off road!?!! I've used it mainly for travelling from Kingaroy to the Sunshine coast each week. Driving Lights are good. There are a couple of body dings from the Coles car park near the petrol filler and in the rear tail gate but nothing major. There are two working sets of keys for this vehicle, I have a third for emergencies so feel free to bid you are buying a good vehicle that has been cared for by myself and used daily. Ive just paid $120 for a Safety Certificate for this vehicle which now lists everything that needs to be done before it can be re-submitted in the next 14 days for re-issue but will require the following repairs:
Windscreen replaced, I HAVE REPLACED THE WINDSCREEN: BIG TICK ¹
LH & RH Upper Balljoint replaced
RH Lower Ball joint
Crack in RH Rear Lens
Oil Leaks - LH Tappet Cover Gasket
Switch for Driving Lights, not that much really and pretty simple stuff.
