Ford Fairlane Concorde Ghia NL 1998
I have enjoyed driving this Fairlane, but now it's time for a new chapter.
Originally I thought someone would part this out, but since talking to some, it seems that there is more value to keeping it together. Looks like these models are not so common and not easy to come by. Do with it what you will, use it for parts, wreck it or put it back on the road.
Sold unregistered without roadworthy, as is.
The car is currently registered and my intention is to cancel the registration prior to handover. If you wish to obtain a roadworthy certificate we can arrange for the registration to be transferred. Contact me if you wish to consider this option.
I will give as much information as I can about this car, however I strongly suggest an inspection prior to purchase.
The Good

Front bushes are gone (possibly something else in front suspension I don't know)Gas tank is probably out of dateThe auto has a strong kick if you go hard from 2nd to 3rd (but I have had this for 10 years and its going strong with no signs of giving up!)Small tear in driver's seat, but repairable.The Ugly
There is some panel damage around the car. None of it is major, but nevertheless it is there all around.Some scratches here and thereA larger dint on rear RHS passenger door and quarter panel. You can see it in the picture. Note: I do have the missing trim piece, I just have not put it back on.The remote has one button rubber missing. It works fine, but one cover rubber tore off. (You can get a new shell on ebay for around 10 bucks)Clear paint lacquer is peeling in several placesPaint has faded in some areas particularly the bonnet Can't hold its water - very embarrassing :). Radiator or hose has a leak. I suspect it's a hose, but I really don't know.Inspection available in Brighton East, VIC prior to end of auction. Contact me to arrange a time.
