Hi folks,
Up for sale is my beloved first love.
Shes silver, original paint, bought it of the second owner who used to drive it from thomastown to geelong everyday. She was on duel fuel at the time.
Once i bought her 4 years ago the following has been done, engine has been replaced and a full rebuild from an au 200 kw ts50 with full gas reseach 510 cfm carb, petrol deleted ( all petrol stuff is there, except the fuel tank since i wanted to run a duel exhaust system at the time but didnt get around to it).
She has EL GT header with a full 2.5 exhaust system with one muffler and a hot dog. The gas system runs of a primer on cold start with a fully redone hi6 crane ignition system.
The car has an electronic stage 1 shift kit. It has been serviced every 7000kms. There isnt a leak under the car, all bushes have been replaced. The only leak is from the power streeing pump overflowing on a dry turn.
She comes with 16inch anz shark fins with no center caps. The interior has been fully redone with ed sprint front seats refoamed with memory foam and beefed up which has cost me $1100 for just the fronts. The rears are of an ed fairmont ghia full leather and has 1 tear on the left rear passenger. Roof lining has also been redone to factory because i was anal about it. It also has a factory tow bar but it isnt a heavy duty one.
The gearbox and diff have been maintained by preston automotives and differentials, serviced every 30,000 kms.
Shes got protex cross drilled slottered brakes on the front to help her pull up in time with bendix ultimate pads. She has koni short shocks in the front and gabriel rears with lowered king springs. The paints a bit faded on the roof and it has a dent from some idiot wipper snipping his front lawn and a stone flying into the rear passenger door.
She has been my daily for the last 4 years and has gotten me through some tough times but its times to move on and id like to see her go to someone who would look after her.
At $4000 and with receipts she will come with a roadworthy and all the original parts which include EB S1 Fairmont front and rear seats, AU 200KW cam, lifters, valve springs, all the original gas parts that were in the car that got removed due to going down the gas research path along with all receipts for every bit of work done on the car. She has currently done anout 390, xxx kms and has 22,459 on the rebuilt motor. The car has maintained by Nothern MotorWorks since the time I bought it.
