2002 Ford Fairmont Ghia BA sedan. 5.4litre VCT V8.Sports tiptronic 4 speed automatic. Runs on petrol and injected Lpg by Omegas, cost $4500 for the lpg so no power loss or economy.
This car has leather and power everything. Has black leather seats, doortrims, handbrake, xr8 leather steering wheel, console lid. etc. Has power steering, power windows, power mirrors, electric front seat with 3 memory settings, electric pedals. cruise control. Has full premium sound with factory amp, sub, speakers and tweeters, has fully integrated pioneer stereo running off the factory stereo so you can simply plug in your ipod, usb, sd card, mp3 player or cd, sounds excellent and is very convenient and easy to use. Has color screen with trip computer and dual zone climate control, ice cold air cond and excellent heaters. Also has reverse sensors, tinted windows, heavy duty factory towbar and also has airbags in the seats unlike the standard BA for added safety. rego until 23 july 2014
Will not need a pinkslip roadworthy until next year, lpg was installed in 2007 so wont need to be checked until 2017
The car has done 202000kms so not much for a ford. The engine runs great on lpg and petrol and is silky smooth and quiet with plenty of power. In the past 3 months over $3000 spent with receipts ,the car has had

All parts used have been heavy duty such as polyurethane where ever possible
The car is also fitted with a DJR style Bobtail spoiler and factory 17 inch alloys painted black
The car has also had a new centre bearing fitted previously. Doesnt use oil or water, no leaks etc.
I drive this car everyday everywhere and it has never once let me down and wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere.
The paint and interior are not perfect, there are a few small dents and scratches but overall the paint and body is in great condition, above average for its age and the photos dont do the car justice. Part of the reason for this is that the car has been cared for but also it has had the Peter Wynn VIP gold protection package since new so paint and interior are going to look this good for many more years.
Im told they made less than 150 ford fairmont ghia sedans with the V8 so this is a rare car and has only positive reviews online and has developed a cult following among enthusiasts for its huge torque, smoothness and reliability.
Ive had this car for a few years and love it, it never lets me down, it saves me thousands a year in fuel with no power loss and has luxuries that many new cars dont have today which makes all the difference when driving.
Purchased from a trusted car yard so has a clear title, never been stolen, crashed, repaired, genuine kms, etc.
The lpg system is vapour injected Lpg, meaning there are 8 seperate Lpg injectors mounted to the engine, with its own computer. Car will always start on petrol, keeping the petrol system in mint condition then when operating temp is reached after a few minutes car automatically switches to Lpg without you even noticing, when the lpg runs out car will switch automatically to petrol., You can also switch it manually.
There is no power or economy loss with this lpg system, the only down side is the installation price but here its already done. I get 300kms per tank city/highway, which costs approx. $35 to fill, so out of around $100 you get close to 900ks, from a V8 5 seater sedan no less.
Its not a new car or a perfect car but its a great car with a lot going for it plus ive spent over $3000 in the last few months so i dont want to take less than $7500
