1967 XR Falcon 500

This vehicle is a great specimen of what a 1967 XR falcon 500 looks likewhen it has never been touched in it's life, still being in it'soriginal paint and primer from the factory. A true Virgin car and to topthat off has managed to pull through 47 years without developing anyrust. This car is 99.5% rust free!
These cars in this condition are almost impossible to find these days,so this is really a one of a kind opportunity to own possibly the bestXR Falcon body in Australia.
Colour of his vehicle is Ivy green (paint) & Ivy green (interior)
The vehicle runs and has had the engine reconditioned a couple of yearsago plus new exhaust but has not been driven since. So basic drive-lineis all fine.
Interior, again, for it's age is in decent condition, everythingthat should be there is there. Front bench seat does have some tears butrear seat and door trims are pretty much perfect. Even has the original rubber floor 2 part covering.
Exterior has a few small dings and scratches with some paintmissing/flaked on the bonnet, showing original primer underneath,empthasizing it's full originality. Chrome molds are in very goodcondition apart from a couple of side body molds that have been touchedonce upon a time. As mentioned above, this car is 99.5% rust free, I'm not a panel beaternor a spray painter but as this car's never been painted before which isclear, if there was any rust trying to come through or present, itwould be clear to see and not hidden by a new paintjob or repairs. All inner doors, sills, floor, window channels, bottoms of All quartersand boot are clean & free.
Would love to keep such an amazing specimen of Australian Fordhistory, especially being an XR which was the first of the GT's inAustralia and our version of the American mustang but if it finds a goodhome and given the respect I think it deserves then that's good enough.
