Ford Falcon XC 1977 UTE.
The mean, green, six machine is for sale!
Matching numbers (if you care) running a strong, 250 4.1 liter, 6 cylinder crossflow with a cast-iron head, a Stromberg carburetor and a 3 speed manual column shift gearbox.
Selling my beloved Ford because we have moved to close to the sea, and I don't want to see it disappear in a pile of rust.
This is my daily driver, so it is taken care of.
Good tyres, towbar, everything works, no oil leaks what so ever, touchscreen stereo,
remote central locking (yes, it has central locking on all 2 doors), have a holly 350 double barrel carby
that I will send with the car, has a new head gasket and new manifold gasket plus other gaskets are also replaced recently,
new aluminium high performance radiator, newish good carpet in tray, newish good tonnau cover, rego until Feburary 2016.
I also got my hands on an XC Cobra front spoiler that will come with the car.
The interior is sprayed black by previous owner, and looks a bit shabby (or rock and roll as I see it), the panels and
sills have rust and are not straight (also Rock´n roll), the paint which is original is scraped and marked (might be seen as Rock´n roll).
The clutch shudders a bit when taking off in 1st gear, but does not slip. Might be the pilot bearing or oil on the clutch,
this was going to be my next fix on the green machine.
All and all it´s a good, strong, reliable ute that always starts (even on cold and wet mornings) and looks and drives awesome.
If I could I would keep it.
