Description
Up for sale is my 1992 Falcon XF Panelvan.
Great for a restoration to get back on the road or for parts.
Does not come with reg or RWC. Rego was cancelled in June.
Wasa fantastic daily driver up until minor accident, the last 100,000K'sin approx the last 3 years I've owned it have been 95% freewaykilometres. I'm the 3rd owner of the car and a non-smoker.
Engine runs strong, with no smoke visible from exhaust, reads 288xxx on the dash.
Inlate 2014 a reconditioned transmission was installed. Car is 3 speedAuto column shift; Has smooth gear changes, and is dual fuel - runs bothpetrol and LPG. Gas tank is still in date. Mid 2013 a new gas converterwas installed.
Car has a nice note to it with extractors running 2.5" all the way through.
Early 2014 replaced: Welsch plugs, most engine seals including the rear main seals, gaskets were redone.
Alternator was also reconditioned in late 2014. Battery is around 2 years old.
In 2012 when purchased, for the roadworthy a recondition radiator and powersteering pump were installed.
Car has Pedders lowered suspension; sits well on nice wheels.
Also has clarion head unit and 6" kickers in the rear, plus a solid Cayman & Reece tow bar. Also has bench seat.
Deemed a repairable write off after minor collision on front left, pictures show the damage.
Asthe car is older than 20 years it will not need a licenced repairer toauthenticate repairs (has minor front end damage to headlights, frontquarter panel, front guard, bonnet and bumper, with minor subframedamage) and will only need a roadworthy certificate to get back on theroad.
I did not have the time to do this and upgraded cars instead.
Pleasesee photos for standard Falcon rust issues in sill⁄gutters, betweenside windows on the left hand side and around the windscreen.
Has XR6 front end on it but the left side of bumper and lights are damaged as I mentioned.
Alsonote the wheels are all 2nd hand and may not be roadworthy. Ifyou want some 14" Speedy wheels with 235 wide tyres I'm selling themseparately.
Inspections welcome at St. Andrews Beach.
