Description
Car was purchased from Torque Ford in Redcliffe about seven years ago. It has been used in this area, apart from a few trips, and serviced locally. Over that time all recommended replacements have been carried out, including the water pump, rear transmission oil seal, headlining and steering box.
It has been driven by two non-smoking senior citizens in a sensible manner since purchase, and garaged under cover.
The Safety Certificate (RWC) is current till 9th November 2015 and the car starts and runs nicely on unleaded or E10 with no known mechanical problems.
There is a slight dent and scratch on the driver's side mudguard where the car was attacked by something like a shopping trolley in our absence while parked at Morayfield Shopping Centre a few weeks ago.
The only reason for selling is that we now have a newer, smaller car, adequate for nearly all local use by two people.
This is a reluctant sale. These cars have a real motor, attractive overall lines (in my opinion!) good paintwork for their age, and sit nicely, handling speed bumps with little fuss.
They also seem durable. I caught one working as a taxi four years ago, with 650,000 km on the clock.
Car can be inspected prior to sale by arrangement. Call Norm on 0401 723 875.
