Ford Falcon XT (2006) 4D Wagon 4 SP Auto Seq Sports (4L - Multi Point F/INJ)...

A very good friend passed away last week from cancer aged 52 leaving a 13 yo daughter. My wife and I are selling her car for her and the proceeds are to go into a trust for her daughter. This was her car that she drove to work mon-fri and to the shops etc. It is a white 4 door Falcon stationwagon Automatic Six cylinder that runs on factory LPG only. It was first registered in 2007 and has 150,000kms so far. The car has always been serviced on time and driven very carefully all its life. There has been no accidents although there is a few slight scratches etc that one would expect of a daily driver. The transmission slips a little when changing from 2nd to 3rd but once the car has warmed up it changes normally and is fine. I have spoken to a transmission specialist to find out the cost of repair or replace. So what I am doing is offering the car for $1200 cheaper than market price to compensate the buyer. This is the only issue with this car and it is not something that needs to be done quickly. The car drives very well, has just been serviced and had the front brakes done. I am in Baulkham Hills if you are interested in inspection and test drive. The car has great airconditioning and a CD player 4 speaker stereo. The car comes with a luggage rack and roof racks,neither of which are fitted.The owner had no pets and was a non smoker. The car is registered untill september and is currently roadworthy.All papers are in order and notice of disposal was signed prior to her passing.Obviously I would like to sell this a.s.a.p so I am open to offers. Apparently this model's weak point was the transmission so buying a model knowing it needs attention and the price allowing for that to me, makes more sense than buying another with similar kilometers with a transmission that will need attention sooner or later. The engines in these cars regularly see 600,000kms without problems hence their popular use as taxi cars.
