This vehicle was originally fitted with 4.0 litre engine (3984cc)
As with many early 4.0s it had a piston ring issue resulting in excess smoke until engine reached normal operating temperature.
I replaced the engine with a 3.9 litre (3949cc) from an EB Fairmont.
This had the cylinder head pressure tested and machined, new head bolts and head gasket fitted.
I also fitted new brass welsh plugs and a new water pump.
I don't remember the exact kms on 3.9 but I think that it was low 200s
