Tidy and reliable PJ Ranger XL Highrider, manual turbo diesel.
Comes with Flexiglass canopy with heavy duty internally reinforced roof racks, tub liner, Ironman winch compatible bull bar, LED driving lights, premium side steps, Uniden 5W UHF with dual range antenna, 80% tread Falken A/T tires and heavy duty steel rims.
This Ranger also has a color touch screen media system with reversing camera, Bluetooth hands-free and media streaming, iPod connectivity, USB connectivity, Micro SD reader, DVD, CD and FM/AM radio. The speakers have also been upgraded, making a substantial improvement over the terrible original system.
Also included is an aftermarket cruise control system. Please keep in mind when considering other Rangers that none of this model were ever released with factory fitted cruise control, so always make sure it has been fitted, and if not it will cost around $700 to get a system fitted.
This has always been a reliable vehicle for me, it is extremely practical and convenient to be able to store what ever you want in the back and know that it is going to be dry and secure. I have always serviced every 5000 to 8000km's, last service was approximately 500km's ago with all new filters. Timing belt, tensioner and idler bearing (which are recommended to be replaced by Ford at 120000 to 140000km's) have been replaced.
The interior of the vehicle is in great condition with no rips, tears or wear on any of the seats. The exterior is in good condition with a couple of the usual small car-door dents, some discoloration of the rear right corner of the tub (only noticeable if you know to look) and some marks near the tow hitch. I have been as honest as possible with this description and think it will be difficult to find a similar condition Ranger.
Plenty of power with the turbo diesel engine, will easily overtake at 100km/h on the freeway and is easy to drive around town. Nice amount of leg room for 5 passengers and a comfy ride.
I am the genuine 3rd owner of this vehicle, I have completed a full PPSR and VICRoads inquiry and the vehicle is clear on all titles.
