I am helping sell this absolutely-stunning, super-classy, original-survivor, 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible, to help settle the estate of a classic car collector. This car was purchased new as a show car, in 1965, and has been maintained as one ever since. Always garage-kept, well-maintained, extremely-pampered and never driven in bad weather. It still has its 1968 Ohio Motor Vehicle inspection sticker in great condition on the windshield. It has an absolutely fabulous, straight-as-an-arrow, rust and ding-free body - finished in its gorgeous, original color (code J) Rangoon Red.
The (code 66) black vinyl interior looks and feels absolutely fantastic - from the seat upholstery and dash, to the door panels, carpet and custom floor mats and trunk. The chrome, trim and glass also look like new. The power top works great and looks excellent. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car. It is rolling on an excellent set of General wide white-wall tires. Everything on the car works exactly as it should, even the factory clock and original radio. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes, sounds and handles excellent. The entire car is highly detailed and ready for the most discriminating collector, enthusiast or classic convertible lover. It is truly investment grade.
